Be a Volunteer
We’re so happy you want to join our team!
Volunteers are the backbone of the Special Olympics movement. They are coaches, trainers, officials, event organizers, fundraisers, and managers. They can also be Unified Partners - playing alongside athletes with intellectual disabilities - or fans cheering in the stands. Volunteers can earn student service hours. Workplace volunteers can often earn leave and/or matching monetary donations for their time.
Visit the Volunteer Roles page on the Special Olympics Virginia website for details.
Loudoun County is currently looking to fill TWO volunteer coaching positions for the upcoming spring season.
- Track & Field head coach
- Tennis head coach
